The Chapel of the Transfiguration dates to 1925. The Chapel of the Transfiguration is a small log chapel in Grand Teton National Park, in the community of Moose near Menors Ferry. The chapel was constructed to frame a view of the Cathedral Group of peaks in a large window behind the altar.

By mid-July buffalo were grazing all around Gros Ventre Campground where we were staying. In past years we watched buffalo wander around the campground. We did not see any in Gros Ventre Campground this year although a moose did visit one morning and actually lay down behind our motorhome.
