Ya just gotta love a charter boat named Reel Lucky. Joyce spotted this cute one while walking along Harbor Walk at the Old Historic Key West Bight Marina.

While wintering in Key West Joyce and I always dine at Hogfish Grill on Stock Island several times. If you are visiting Key West and are looking for truly GOOD FOOD in a true "Island" atmosphere the Hogfish Grill is for you.
Heartbreak Hotel sign on Duval Street in Key West, Florida
This Heartbreak Hotel sign is actually on Duval Street in Key West. Of course the "real or original" Heartbreak Hotel is located in Memphis, Tennessee across from Elvis Presley's Graceland. Heartbreak Hotel in Key West is down a small alleyway called Lonely Street. How is that for completing the main line in the song made famous by Elvis Presley back in the mid-1950's.....Just take a walk down Lonely St. to Heartbreak Hotel.
Cookie store on Duval Street in Key West, Florida
Joyce and I passed this decidant "COOKIE" store on Duval Street so many times this year. We were GOOD! We really were GOOD, two months of passing this store and looking at those cookies and we did not stop. We did drool, oh my gosh did we drool. It was so tempting. Joyce and I got to giving each other a "high-five" everytime we made it by this sign and display without stopping. Duval Street is full of things to tempt the weak.
Bourbon Street Pub on Duval Street in Key West, Florida
When Joyce and I first saw this sign for the Bourbon St. Pub we stopped and scratched our head. Bourbon Street is in New Orleans, Louisiana. Yet here on Duval Street in Key West, Florida is the Bourbon St. Pub.

Heartbreak Hotel on Lonely St. in Key West, Florida
Lonely Street off Duval Street in Key West, Florida is hardly a street but it does have that sign. It is more like an alley but that is the cynic in me. The Heartbreak Hotel and Lonely St. are so easy to miss that you can walk by it time and time again and never see it. Once you see the sign you want to put on your blue suede shoes and boogie on down Lonely Street. On Duval Street in Key West, Florida you can find almost anything including this namesake of an Elvis Presley classic tune ’Heartbreak Hotel’. I know it is crazy but here it is. Heartbreak Hotel is not on Duval Street like this sign. Heartbreak Hotel is really on Lonely Street. A Heartbreak Hotel neon sign hangs above the road on Duval Street but to get to the Heartbreak Hotel you must go down the small alley under that Lonely St. sign to the entrance. For some like us this is a photo-op, for others it is probably a swinging weekend stay, either way, this is a GREAT sign to include on our signs page. We will conclude this with the last verse of Elvis Presley's famous song: Hey now, if your baby leaves you, and you got a tale to tell. Just take a walk down Lonely St. to Heartbrake Hotel.
