Traveling I-70 west of Salina Kansas the wind turbines come into to view on the horizon. One knows that this is a sign of high winds that occur in the area. One turbine can produce electricity for 450 houses. This is an interesting sight for people from the South.

This is Lakeside RV Park in Ellis, Kansas. Notice the beauitful Cottonwood trees that line the lake. The RV park is small and run by the city of Ellis Kansas.. The cost in season is $15 per night. It is conveiently located off I-70 which makes it an ideal stop when traveling I-70 through Kansas into Denver Colorado.
