BamaJam 2009
June 4 through 6, 2009 This travellog covers the three days of BamaJam 2009 outside Enterprise, Alabama. We stayed in Mr. D's RV Park in Ozark, AL. $20 for FHU paved sites & interior roads including cable. While Mr. D's is not a destination park with all kinds of amenities it was perfect for our needs and we will stay there again. Bama Jam is concentrated in a large pasture north of Enterprise, Alabama. It is a 3-day County Music extravaganza something like a country music Woodstock. It is all outdoors with over 100,000 music fans in attendance. Talk about a hoot. There were 4-music stages with good music on all stages.

This is a view of the tent camping area. Motorhomes, 5th Wheels and Travel Trailers are in another location.
While there is a lot of tents this is nothing compared to the number of RV's in the RV-camping area. Now that was something to see.
Bama Jam main stage
The crowd continued to grow all day. As you can see this is early-afternoon in front of the main stage. That is most likely Heidi Newfield performing. She was the opening act that kicked off Saturday performances on the main stage.
George Jones
George Jones made several appearances during the event. I can't remember whether he appeared this time with John Anderson or Blake Shelton. Whatever, he came out and sang a song then walked off.
Aaron Tippin
Aaron Tippin always puts on a good show and this was no exception.
