I like the way some people communicate, perticularly this individual. This was in a rustic RV-Park in the Hill Country of Texas around Medina.

Luckenbach, Texas is famous for more things than one. One thing they are famous for is their "livestock" -------- once you have visited Luckenbach you can't help but remember the yard chickens that roam the place spending the night in those large oak trees. They don't want dogs chasing their chickens. Another thing ------ Luckenbach ain't noted for spellers either. VBG

There are times when I wish I had this sign in my hip pocket. Just think, you could pull this sign out and hold it in front of you while staring at the individual with a smile on your face.

Wouldn't it be great!

We saw this sign in Leakey (pronounced Lakey) Texas. We liked it. Sometime we will have to stop and see what is going on in the "Hog Pen".

This sign was just cute, that is all there is to it.

Gosh! I can't remember where we saw this sign but I stared at it for a while-----I didn't get it. Then I asked Joyce to look. She didn't get it either. It was somewhere in Texas.

This is one of those cute signs you see from time to time usually at the entrance to RV-Parks. I think this one was at Enchanted Trails RV-Park on the west side of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

We were visiting friends Frank & Sandy Young who live in New Mexico. Frank was taking us on an area introduction drive near the old mining town of Cerrillos. As Frank navigated along a road leading to the mining area we passed this old vehicle that had obviously plunged off the road years ago.

Frank stopped to let us take a picture. But both Frank and Sandy were distressed that the "sign" had blown off and we could not see it. Frank hopped out of our transportation and bounded down the ravine where he placed the sign where it has been for years.

Thanks Frank. The "For Sale Needs Work" sign absolutely needed to be put back in its proper place.

This sign is right up there with the one on the septic tank remains with "You can't fix stupid" written on it.

Deep in the Hill Country of Texas town of Bandera we noticed this law office with a unique sign next to the front door. Look at the picture carefully and see if it strikes you as funny as it did me.

Some people will not see the humor that I saw in this "Tamale" sign next to the front door of a lawyers office in Bandera. This No Solicitation sign was for real! It was a very professional stainless steel plaque. This lawyer likes Tamales wouldn't you say. I love it. This make my day.

Joyce likes to remind me that it doesn't take much to entertain me. This tamale sign did the trick.

A friend sent this sign. Even though I didn't take the picture I like the sign. Something tells me this sign is in southern California but I could be wrong.

We saw this advertisement in Oregon off I-84 somewhere northwest of Fairwell Bend State Park in the eastern part of the state.

We liked the name of this road. I think it was in Richland, Oregon.

This sign got our attention. Anytime you see a sign mentioning a 30-30 it is time to pay attention. This was on a gravel road in the ghost town of Whitney, Oregon.

I think this is where the person who put up that 30-30 sign lived. It was one of two places in the ghost town that looked like they might be occupied.

Note that while it may be occupied it doesn't have electricity or running water.

This cute sign was in the information center in Clarkstone, Washington.

If you don't get it you need to spend some time reading about Lewis & Clarks Voyage of Discovery.

We were heading into Creston, Canada but still in Idaho. Just before entering the border station we turned west and went a few hundred feet down a paved road to get a close up look at hops fields. We passed by a country store with this sign outside. We are within just a few hundred feet of the border station on the US side of the border. I can only imagine what kind of party this was.

Elmira is a small town north of Sandpoint, Idaho on US 95. Both of us like the name but it was especially good as the name for this store.

This is an original name for a beach. We saw this "beach" sign on Alberta, Canada's Crows Nest Highway west of Pincher Creek. There was a lake at the summit with a small beach. I doubt if there is much swimming in that lake since the water must be near freezing year around.

We saw this street name in Idaho, in a small community west of Boise.

This was in a park/museum/whatever in Idaho.

This was on a sign outside a United Methodist Church in Sun River, Montana, a small community 20-miles west of Grand Falls.

This was the entrance gate to a fly fishing place near Enis, Montana.

This was on a gravel road leading to Lake Ennis near Ennis, Montana.

This was on a fancy gate leading to someones lake house on Lake Ennis near Enis, Montana. See the picture below to see the whole gate and property that went with the sign.

This is the property that went with the above Pig Pen's Landing Sign.

One of our readers, Ed Gnaedinger, sent this sign that they saw while passing through Swift Current, Saskatchewan. I can't help but think these signs should be posted on every corner in South Florida. Thanks Ed, this is a good one.

Sign in Granite, Oregon

The eclectic town of Granite, Oregon was sporting this sign on the intersection of its main streets.
