To get to Granite Hot Springs, drive 12 miles south from Hoback Junction on US-191 then turn east on Granite Hot Springs gravel road.

Granite Hot Springs is 10 miles down Granite Hot Springs Road. Enjoy the bumpy drive up Granite Hot Springs Road it is a strikingly beautiful drive.

During the winter, Granite Hot Springs Road from US-191 is groomed and access is limited to snowmobiles and skis.

Granite Hot Springs is a hot spring located , 30 miles southeast of Jackson. It is maintained by the United States Forest Service. Early settlers in the region dug a pool to collect the water. The Civilian Conservation Corps enhanced the pool in 1935, adding a campground, changing room, and deck.[1] There is also a primitive pool located at Granite Falls, about 1/2 mile downstream

The campground is located about a mile east of Granite Hot Springs. I would not advise taking a large motorhome down this rough gravel/dirt road.

Granite Hot Springs is tucked away in the Gros Ventre Mountains, at about 7,000 feet above sea level.

A naturally fed hot spring feeds this pool.

If you are expecting rustic you will be disappointed.

Granite Hot Springs is a real pool with a nice communal changing room - one for men & one for ladies.
