Joyce took this picture of Grand Teton Mountain one day as we were checking out the town of Kelly, Wyoming located about 15-miles northeast of Jackson.

When visiting Grand Teton National Park you should plan to take a drive out Gros Ventre Road past the Gros Ventre National Park Campground then Kelly and on to Kelly Hot Springs and the Gros Ventre Slide overlook and interpretive area. From there continue east on Gros Ventre Road past Lower Slide Lake. East of Lower Slide Lake Gros Ventre Road turns into gravel but do not fear it is a well maintained gravel road for another 20-miles or more as it follows the Gros Ventre River deep into the Gros Ventre Wilderness.

If you are thinking about taking this drive on Gros Ventre Road east of Kelly, Wyoming you might want to check out some of these travellogs:

Joyce took this picture from the back deck of Jackson Lake Lodge in Grand Teton National Park. We stepped out onto the deck to look for elk and moose in Willow Flats but the low hanging clouds between us and the Teton Range kept drawing our eyes away from wildlife.
