I-25 Through Cheyenne, Wyoming

Exit 7 on I-25 in Wyoming is a good stop for food and fuel

Exit 7 is a good stop on I-25. It has some of the cheapest gas in the region plus there are places to eat and the Wyoming Welcome Center is also located on this exit.

We were staying in AB Campground about 2-miles east of I-25 on exit 7 so this is why we have this picture. Joyce took this picture out the windowshield of our motorhome as we were heading from AB Campground to I-25 on our trek to the Tetons.

This wind generator field can be viewed from I-25 west of Cheyenne, Wyoming. Travelers on I-80 can also view this wind generator field west of Cheyenne. If you are inclined to get a closeup view of this wind generator field take exit 10 off I-25 and go west on Old Happy Jack Road. You will be in the middle of the wind generator field within a few miles.

Cheyenne Frontier Days Park is on the east side of I-25 in Cheyenne

Cheyenne Frontier Days is a BIG event in Cheyenne, indeed in Wyoming and northeastern Colorado. Cheyenne puts on a 2-week long rodeo complete with myriad other activities. The Cheyenne Frontier Days Parades are fun and interesting. The daily/nightly rodeo's are like no other rodeo you will ever witness.

Horse Creek Road is at Exit 16 north of Cheyenne on I-25

We took a scenic drive west on Horse Creek Road last year and thoroughly enjoyed it. You can read about it here.
