This is a beautiful trawler that is spending the winter in Key West. Liveaboard boats in a Stock Island Marina
Some of the boats in this marina are permanent "liveaboards". The owners live here and work in Key West and have for years. Living is so expensive in Key West that many people resort to living on boats. The sailboat in this picture is probably not one of those liveaboards that live and work in Key West. If it is a liveaboard I would assume the owner travels up and down the coast in it.

Nice, functional liveaboard docked at Marina next to Hogfish Grill on Stock Island
This liveaboard was a really nice setup. It wasn't all that "fancy" but it did have room. It was well appointed with the necessities of life plus many amenities that make life worth living. We spent about 30-minutes talking with the owner who spends the winter on Stock Island then slowly migrates north as it gets warmer. I can assure you that he is living the "good-life" ----- and he knew it. VBG

While some liveaboard boats spend the winter swinging on anchor others prefer to pay for a dock space as this owners does.
