Conch trains like the one in this picture haul thousands of tourist around Key West every day. They really do a great job of showing tourist Old Town Key West. Each docent/driver constantly delivers information about Key West, the history, architecture, characters and personalities that live here or have lived here.

The Key West Conch Train is not a train in the traditional sense. As you can see from this picture Conch Trains have automobile tires and do not run on steel tracks like a normal train.

While this may "look" like a train locomotive you can see that it is actually a regular automobile engine converted to run on propane.

Each driver also doubles as a docent. And they do a remarkably good job.

This conch train is heading up Duval Street in Old Town, Key West.

I can look at this picture and tell that a cruise ship is not in port.

When cruise ships are in port this is a crowded place and some days there are three cruise ships in port.
