In addition to pink blooms the red giant crinum lily has foliage with a red to purple tint.

These are also known as Queen Emma Lily.

The giant red crinum lily or Queen Emma lily is a show piece plant in any tropical garden.

Only on rare occasions have I ever seen a seed on a giant crinum lily. Nursery men have told me that is because the Red Crinum Lily is a hybrid. A cross between a giant crinum lily and some other lily.

Nursery men tell me that they propagate them from "pups" or offspring of the parent since they do not produce seeds.

These are also known as Queen Emma Lily.

Even without a bloom the Giant Red Crinum Lily or Queen Emma lily is a truly spectacular spaceman plant in this tropical garden.
