This seaplane landed in the Dry Tortugas at Fort Jefferson while we were there.

It is making its way to the seaplane anchorage on Garden Key at Fort Jefferson.

The folks in that small inflatable dinghy are coming ashore from one of the private boats visiting the Dry Tortugas and Fort Jefferson. Private boats are assigned an anchorage several hundred yards offshore of the southern end of Garden Key. They use dinghys such as this one to visit Fort Jefferson.

This is the Yankee Freedom II that we rode to Fort Jefferson on.

The Yankee Freedom II makes daily ferry trips to Garden Key and Fort Jefferson from their dock in Key West Harbor.

This is another picture of the seaplane that brought visitors to Garden Key and Fort Jefferson in the Dry Tortugas. It is anchored 100-yards or so in front of the Yankee Freedom II that transported us to Fort Jefferson from Key West.
