I-25 Casper to Douglas, Wyoming

Dave Johnson Power Plant, Glenrock, Wyoming off I-25 west of Douglas, Wyoming

The Dave Johnson Power Plant, located six east of Glenrock, Wyoming, is a coal-fired power plant that generates 817 megawatts of power. It is a major coal-burning power plant, and it relies on four different generators to produce this huge amount of electricity.

This huge power plant is easily viewed from I-25 as you can see from this picture that Joyce took out our motorhome window.

Ayers Natural Bridge is accessed by taking exit 151off I-25 west of Douglas, Wyoming

We have visited Ayers Natural Bridge on several occasions it is one of those places that eveyone passing through this area should visit.

At Exit 151 turn south on CR 13 and follow it for about 5-miles.

Exit 140 on I-25 in Wyoming is the Douglas, Exit

Douglas, Wyoming is a great place to visit

We love to stop in Douglas for a number of reasons chief among them is the Free City Park Campground.

But their Wyoming Pioneer Museum is another good place as is their visitor center which features a train exhibit and jackalopes.

You may want to check out our Douglas Travel Logs.
