The legendary Dave Roe jaw bowning with us in Robert's
Dave Roe is the Bass player in the Don Kelley band that performs regularly at Robert's. Dave Roe truly is a legend. He has toured with and played for the likes
of Jerry Reed, recording gigs with a Who's Who roster of Nashville Legends,
including Chet Atkins, Mel Tillis and Vern Gosdin, along with subbing
tours with such stars as Vince Gill, Faith Hill and Leroy Parnell. Dave is currently touring and recording with an "A" list of artists and musicians. He currently tours with Dwight Yoakam and lives and works in Nashville. Dave has toured and recorded with Johnny Cash, Dwight Yoakam, Jerry Reed, Chet Atkins, Vince Gill, Kris Kristofferson, Jerry Lee Lewis, Billy Joe Shaver, and many more folks. When not on the road or in the studio, he can be found performing at the legendary Robert's Western World in downtown Nashville, with The Don Kelley Band, the city's oldest and finest hardcore Honky-Tonk/ Hillbilly band. And that is where we enjoy Dave......at Robert's on lower Broadway.

While Dave Roe is a jolly old chap he does have another side that shows on occasion. Since we know "both" sides of Dave - The Bass Player, I got a real kick out of this sign. It was hanging above the urinal in the Men's room of Robert's where the Don Kelly Band performs.
While the large print is funny with a serious message, I like the smaller print at the bottom:
And no slapping the Bass Player even if he has it coming. Virtually everyone leaving the Men's Room in Robert's has a smile on their face. Yea, there is a reason for that last statement on the sign. VBG
