Macon County, Missouri Municipal CampgroundMacon County Missouri Municipal Campground
Here we are parked in this huge grass field that is also a Municipal Campground. It seems this campground is filled to capacity at times but tonight there are only two RV's. We did not even disconnect the Saturn tow car as we intend to head out early in the morning. The Macon County Municipal RV-Park is located on the south side of Macon, Missouri. It is set in the SE corner of US 63 and SR PP. It can be accessed from either SR PP or US 63...... your pick. Look for the stadium (football & rodeo)..... the campground is located to the south & east of the stadium. And for those of you who simply can not locate it any other way try: N32° 43.2378' W92° 27.6000'.

$12 for a 30-amp connection and water isn't bad. They have a free central dump station also. This is just what we needed for the night. Thanks to Macon County for allowing us to stay with them. We will try to let as many people know about them as we can.
