Cruise on Lake Pend Oreille
July 2, 2007.
We are staying in Hi
De Ho RV Park, in Sandpoint/Ponderay,
Idaho $32.40 gravel interior roads, FHU including cable and
wifi. This is an OK RV Park
Joyce signed us up for a 7:00 sunset cruise on Lake
Pend Oreille that leaves from the beach/marina area of Sandpoint.
It was an enjoyable cruise even though the sunset wasn't spectacular.
We can't win them all. VBG

I was taking a picture of Sandpoint's
Statue of Liberty. Boy was I surprised when reviewed the picture when
we got home. And to think all I saw when we passed the Statue of Liberty
was the statute. Talk about being out to lunch! By the way, I am not
sure what was going on, but the audience appears to be on the beach,
not our boat.

These folks have an exceptional view.
From our Lake
Pend Oreille Cruise Boat we were able to see many beautiful
homes on the lake.

Pend Oreille Cruise Boat and the lake scenery combine to make
this view enjoyable.
Small islands such as this one create a picturesque scene on Lake
Pend Oreille in northern Idaho
near Sandpoint.
We are enjoying the sunset from the Lake
Pend Oreille Cruise Boat but there isn't much color in today's
sunset.

The setting sun is silhouetting the rugged, glacier carved mountains
near here.
And finally we will leave you with just this smattering of color
as the sun sinks behind the mountains.
The boat crew told us that the evening sky after the
storm the other day was beautiful.
